This is for my grandad, who died of cancer, we all miss him so much, im so glad we had the last special months with you, i remember being a little girl and you taking me on holiday with you to devon, i esp remember those long walks gramps on the cliff tops!!! so scary..... and then we would stop for dinner in a pub.I remember going for long walks in the country with you, you were a fantastic gardener. me and mum took your ashes back to ireland to be buried with your family in kilcarne cemetry johnstown just as you asked, I know you'll be looking after christopher for me gramps until we can all be together again love you xxxxxxxx

My Hero
He wasn't a hero known by the world
But a hero he was to his little girl.
I knew his voice before I could speak
And loved it when he would sing me to sleep.
He taught us life's lessons of right from wrong
And instilled in us values that we might be strong.
And so through the years like a hero he stood
Working to give all that he could.
His presence was important and we loved to see him smile
For no one in the world could emulate his style.

my dad
you were always there for me.you would take my advice but not others we both had this love for your home country ireland becks and i bought your ashes home to be with your family here now i live here very near your grave. dad it was difficult to care for you when you were dying of cancer to see you going down hill but i am so glad you were with me we had that special time together now you have my first grandson christopher with you please always take great care of him i know you will you loved his mum so much.i will always love you and miss you both xxxxxxxxxxxx
